End-to-end encrypted chat
Messages, photos and voice messages can only be read by you and the other person. Our server just passes them on.
Your location stays hidden
People you meet only see the day you met. No map and no live times.
Photos sharpen as you meet
Someone who passes you once can't see your face clearly. You choose how many meetings it takes.
Block and report
Block from a chat or profile. Our team reviews every report and bans accounts that break the rules.
Adults only
Mate is for people aged 18 and over. We do not tolerate any child sexual exploitation.
Delete any time
Delete your account in the app, or on our delete page if you no longer have your old phone.
Back up with Google or LINE
Sign in to keep your account key safe. If you lose or change your phone, sign in again and restore your account, profile, friends and the people you met.
Backups are encrypted on your phone before they leave it, so our server can't read them. Chat messages stay on your phone.
